Exciting News! Our Gopher Tortoise grant was
featured on the radio, NPR channel 88.1.
The Gulf Breeze Zoo awarded a $5000 grant to UWF to focus on monitoring and collecting data on gopher tortoises through cameras, surveying habitats, creating educational materials and supporting UWF biologists to attend Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) workshops.
